Daihat Village is located in
Howrah District of
West Bengal and is a pilgrim place of Gaudiya Vaishnavas.
There is a worship place of Shri Rasika Raya, which was worshipped by Madhava Ghosh. Daihat is the birth place of Shri Bhakti Ratnakara, also known as Vamsi Vadananda Thakur or Vamsi Dasa. He was the disciple of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He also installed an idol of Lord Chaitanya here.
Daihat is 45 km north-west of Kolkata.
