Located to the north-west of
Chiplun, Dabhol is a town at the mouth of the Vashishti River in
Ratnagiri District.
Dabhol Power Corporation and a fishing jetty are the major attractions here. Nearby places include Kutgiri to the north, Anjanvel to the south and Parchuri to the south-east.
Dabhol lies on the Guhagar-Dapoli route. Chiplun Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
