An Ethnographic Museum, D N Majumdar Museum is located at
Lucknow. It showcases the art and craft of the various tribal and folk societies in
Uttar Pradesh,
Madhya Pradesh and several other neighboring states.
Displays include dresses, headgears, ornaments, weapons, baskets, masks, toys, and various ritual paintings. The museum has also produced two video films on the Tharu-a tribe of Uttar Pradesh.
