Corrdeinho, a song- cum-dance is popular as a peasant dance performed by Goan elite youth. This dance form is an ideal example for the cultural influence of Portuguese on Goans. In order to perform it, a minimum of six couples bedecked in colorful dresses are required. The dance is characterised by rhythmic movements.
