Coronation Memorial is situated just 2 km from north of Kingsway Camp in
Delhi. This stone pillar memorial stands in memory of the 1911 Coronation Durbar of King George V and Queen Mary. It is at this place the announcement was made that the country capital would be shifted from Kolkata to Delhi.
Coronation Memorial stands on a high terrace with stairs leading down in four directions. It is now used as a park by children from the neighboring areas.
