College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, a constituent college of
Kerala Agricultural University, was established in 1955 by the government of
Kerala. It is situated at
Mannuthy, on the side of the
National Highway 47, about 8 km from
Thrissur town.
The aims of the college are teaching, research and extension in the field of veterinary and animal sciences. The college offers BVSc and AH degree (UG), BTech (Dairy Science and Technology), PhD and master's degree programs. Besides, a post graduate diploma program is offered in the subjects of Meat Technology and Dairy Technology.
