Church of the Holy Cross




Church of the Holy Cross is in Cordel at a distance of 5 km from Mangalore in Karnataka. Zoith is the monthly newsletter of the Parish. The foundation stone of the Church was laid by the French Missionary, Rev. Fr Alexander Dubois who called the place Cordel, which in French means 'abode of heart.' The Church building was completed and blessed by Bishop Paul Perini on January 30, 1912. There are twenty one Parish wards coming under this Church.

Mangalore Central Railway Station and the Mangalore Junction Railway Station are the nearest railway stations. The Church is easily accessible by road from Mangalore.
