Church of St Andrew




Church of St Andrew, built in 1868, is one of the oldest churches in Goa.It is located at Old Goa, which is about 9 km east of Panaji.

It belongs to the Roman Catholic Churches and was named after the Patron St Andrew, the Apostle. The highlight of the church is the 'Procession of All Saints', the only such procession besides Rome, held on the 5th Monday of Lent. Thirty one statues of the saints are taken out in the procession.
