Church of Most Holy Saviour




Church of Most Holy Saviour is located in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. The Church is located 35 km to the north-east of Mangalore.

The origin of the church has not been established so far although it is believed to be dating back prior to 1702. The church was rebuilt, expanded and renovated by Fr Camil Baretto in 1889, after Tipu Sultan demolished the initial building of the church. The Presbytery was built in 1914. There are 10 parishes under this Church. The Agrar parish operates two schools under its management now.
