Church of Most Holy Redeemer




Church of Most Holy Redeemer is located at Belthangady, 63 km from Mangalore, in Karnataka. There are nineteen parish wards under this Church. The Catholic families in this area had fled from Goa during Maratha King Sambhaji's invasion of Goa. The chapel was served from Agrar initially. The main church building was constructed in 1908. A primary school and the St Theresa High school are run by the Church.

Belthangady is 2 hr journey by bus from Mangalore. Government buses and private taxis are available from Mangalore to Belthangady.
