Churah is a beautiful valley situated in
Chamba District. Churah is a tourist’s delight with lot of scenic, religious and historical places to visit. Bhandal-Kihar, Jasorgarh, Thalli-Bhatkar, Dudar Dhar, Bhukhu Dhar, Devi Kothi, Baira, Bhatmana, Himgiri-Banter, Salooni-Kilod are spots worth visiting. The four lakes Gadasru Lake, Mahakali Dal, Mahal Nag dal, Chamunda Devi Dal further add to its beauty. The Chamunda Devi temple at Devi Kothi and Bhader Kali temple are among the famous temples of this valley.
The Churahi Nritya is a local dance form. A number of jatras (fairs) are conducted in the valley. Baira, Barnota and Himgiri are the important ones among them.
