Chupichar is a tourist spot spread over an area of 20 sq km in West Bengal. It is a cluster of islands in the Gangetic region. This abandoned course of the Ganges in Purbasthali of the Kalna Sub-Division of Bardhaman District, has become a natural sanctuary of migratory birds of rare and common species, especially in winter. An ideal retreat for the nature enthusiast.
