Chundale is a small village situated on the outskirts of Vythiri in Wayanad District. It is located on State Highway 29, just 4 km north of Vythiri and about 14 km south-west of Kalpetta. Kozhikode is around 64 km south-west.
A Robesta Coffee Research Station is situated at Chundale. Banasura Sagar Dam, Chembra Peak (the highest hill in the district) and Ananthanatha Swami temple at Puliyarmala are some among the amjor tourist places lying within a 20 km radius.
