Located about 10 km west of Chamkaur Sahib in Rupnagar District, Chuharval is a beautiful village in Punjab.
To commemorate the visit of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who had rested here, a gurdwara, Gurdwara Jhar Sahib, was built at this spot. Jhar is a tree and therefore Jhar Sahib is a shrine with a tree connected with the guru.
Ropar Railway Station is 25 km from here.
