Situated at
Kayyoor, Christ the King Church is a Syro-Malabar Catholic Church under Pala Diocese in
Kottayam District. The parish was established in 1951 and church building was completed in 1954. The church is seven acres property with a community hall. During the first Sunday of Lent every year, the church celebrates a major festival in honor of Christ and Saint Sebastian. The festival is celebrated with solemn mass, vespers, sermons, processions, and entertainments such as fireworks, electrical illuminations and drama.
