Chowneshwar Hill is positioned in the south-eastern part of
Wai. This hill, 4,000 feet high, is the northern most point of the Chowneshwar range (from Wai to
Satara). It is a part of the
Sahyadris that comes under the Pune region and is an ideal place for trekking.
