Chitvel

Chitvel is located in Cuddapah District and lies near the district’s border with Nellore District. It is 63 km north of Tirupati and is 70 km south-east of Cuddapah.

The entire area is rich in natural resources and has huge deposits of white clay. Sri Venkateswara National Park is a tourist interest in the region.

Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Pullampet Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
