Chittorgarh Shiva Temple




Chittorgarh Shiva Temple is an ancient shrine situated in the Rana Kumbha Palace of the Chittorgarh Fort, Rajasthan. Chittorgarh is about 90 km from Udaipur. Built around the 15th century in Bhumija style, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple stands over a platform terrace surrounded by subsidiary shrines, which can be approached by flights of steps. It has a sanctum, vestibule and a hall with three porches. The shikhara is clustered with multiple turrets.
