Chittavurrai Tea Estate

Established in 1898, Chittavurrai Tea Estate is one of the oldest estates in the high ranges of the Kerala-Tamil Nadu region. It is located around 6000 ft above the sea level. This 354 hectare tea estate is owned by the Tata Tea Company. The estate has a large factory with a capacity of 11,880 kg. Chittavurrai Tea Estate is the first Tata Tea estate under conversion to Organic Tea Cultivation.
