Chiriakot

Chiriakot, in Mau District, is on the state highway connecting Ghazipur and Azamgarh. It is to the west of Mau and about 25 km south of Azamgarh. It has Mehnagar in its west and Dullahpur in its south.

Muhammadabad, a prominent town in the district, is 18 km north of it. Other major towns accessible from here are Sarai Rani, Mubarakpur, Belha Dih and Mardah.

Chirayyakot Bus Station is the major access point in the town. Dullahapur Railway Station and Varanasi Airport serve the town.
