Chiragh Dilli




Chiragh Dilli is a historic village located about 16 km from the Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi. This is an urbanized village associated with a Sufi saint Sheikh Nasiruddin. Folklore has it that the Sufi lighted a lamp using water here. The village got its name after this incident. Chiragh-I-Dilli's Dargah is the major point of attraction. Major tourist destinations of Delhi are easily accessible from here. Accommodation facilities are available, with standard amenities. New Delhi Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
