Chinpara Vithi is a sacred place near
Barpeta Satra in
Barpeta District of
Assam. Srimanta Sankardeva, the founder of Vaishnava, landed here on the banks of Palangdi Bori, now known as Palangdihati.
The saint stayed here for six months to propagate his faith. The Namghar, which he established, still exist here.
