Chinmaya Vidyalaya situated at Kolazhy, about 6 km from
town, is run by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Mumbai
. The school was founded by Poojya Gurudev His Highness Swami Chinmayananda
in 1979, with the aim to produce successful and cultured members in the society. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi
and the school prepares the students for the All India Secondary School Examination and All India Senior School Certificate Examination.
