Chinakkathoor




Chinakkathoor is a village, situated along the Pattambi - Palakkad state highway, in Palakkad District of Kerala.

Nestled amid rolling hills and viridescent terrain, with the mighty Bharathapuzha meandering its way nearby, the village and its surroundings presents a true picture of nature’s splendor at work, where the traditional life styles and the charm of modernity go hand-in-hand.

Major attraction here is the Shri Chinakathoor Bhagavati Temple, where the annual Chinakkathoor Pooram is a major draw.

Chinakkathoor is about 40 km west of the district headquarters, Palakkad. Ottapalam Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
