Established in 1984, the Chidanand B Kore Polytechnic is affiliated to the Department of Technical Education and Board of Technical Examinations, Bangalore. The polytechnic is located in a sprawling ten acres of land on the eastern part of Chikodi in Belgaum District. It offers three year diploma courses in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, automobile engineering, and electronics and communication engineering.
The campus houses the main building, workshops, lab, library, recreation hall, two hostels and a play ground.
