Chidambaresar Temple

Chidambaresar Temple is a magnificent shrine situated at Pillaiyar Palayam, in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines Chidambareswarar as the presiding deity. There are also separate shrines dedicated to Lord Muruga, Bhairav, Lord Chandigeswarar and Navagrahas.

Other deities worshipped here include Lord Ganesh, Lord Brahma, Goddess Durga, Narthana Vinayaka (the dancing figure of Lord Ganesh), Lord Dakshinamurthy and Lingorpavar (an idol).
