Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken Tikka Masala is a British invention, although developed by Indian chefs about 50 years ago for the British palate. The recipe for this boneless chicken dish is long and complicated and requires many ingredients. Tender pieces of boneless chicken are flavored with various spices, grilled to perfection and mixed in creamy colorful aromatic sauce. In this dish, the chicken is called chicken kebab and the sauce is called tikka masala. This dish, cooked in tandoori style, is lower in fat content than most other varieties of curry.
