Chhatri of Ram Dutt Goenka




Built in 1888, Chhatri of Ram Dutt Goenka is situated close to Dundlod Fort. The dome of the chhatri has floral motifs with banners and it is encircled by a frieze showing Lord Krishna dancing with his gopis. The paintings around the inner base display the war panorama of Mahabharata.

Dundlod, situated in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, can be approached by road from Delhi (250 km) and Jaipur (160 km), which are connected by air to other cities. Mukundgarh Railway Station is 6 km north-west of Dundlod.
