Undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the disciplines of art, science, commerce, law, engineering and medicine are offered in affiliated colleges and institutions whereas the residential wing of the campus includes faculties of life sciences, business management, education and English.

The university has established the Institute of Engineering and Technology in the campus, which offers courses in four branches of engineering, namely, chemical, computer science and information and mechanical engineering. Research guidance is also an important activity of the various departments.
