The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has separate niches for Bhuwaneshwari Devi, Lord Ganesh, Sree Dharma Sastha and Nagaraja. Shivaratri is the major festival celebrated here. There is a pond behind the temple and a small stream flows nearby. Vellayani Temple, Nemom Ganapathi Temple, Nemom Sree Mahadeva Temple and Sree Krishna Swami Temple are the other shrines nearby.
