Chellarams Emporium, situated at Wallajah Road in
Chennai, was founded by the late Kishinchand Chellaram in 1915. This 7,000 sq ft building houses various household items such as furniture for living room, bedroom, offices and boardroom. Sofa sets, centre tables and trolleys are also available. All the furniture works are done in teakwood.
Chellarams Emporium specializes in wall-to-wall carpeting. Other items of the shop include curtains, upholstery and furnishings, synthetic and woolen carpets and a wide range of Dhurries.
