Chaturmukh Temple




Chaturmukh Temple is an ancient Jain temple located at Manjeswar, a major pilgrim center in Kasargod District of Kerala. It is situated on a small hillock, on the southern bank of the Manjeswar River.

The temple is believed to have been built around the16th century. It has the idols of Bhagwan Adinath, Shantinath, Chandranath and Mahavir Swami. The idols are installed on the four sides of the temple.

Manjeswar is around 30 km from Mangalore. Manjeshwar Railway Station, on the Kasargod-Mangalore route, is the nearest railhead.
