A Chappati or roti is a typical Indian bread made with wheat flour, water, oil and salt. This delicious, unleavened, soft flat bread is usually eaten with cooked dal or vegetable dishes. It is usually cooked on a ‘tava’ or thick griddle and is often brushed with ghee.
