Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Fuga

The Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Fuga is a famous shrine situated at Cunchelim Village in North Goa District. It was given the status of a church in 1977. Main attraction is a plaque constructed for the benefactors from Iran, who had contributed the large bulk of donations. The main feast of the church lasts for 10 days.

Dedicated to Our Lady, the church attracts a large number of people, irrespective of caste or creed. There is a Boy's Cross, with a tiny enclosure, along the road. St Jeron Chapel and the chapels of Holy Cross at Zor Vaddo and Madian are easily accessible from here.
