Chandrawati

Situated about 2 km from Jhalawar, the old city of Chandrawati is famous for its old temples on the banks of the magnificent Chandrabhaga River. These temples exhibit intricately carved pillars and arched gateways. These were once part of a flourishing, rich and powerful ancient city. A huge fair, known as the Chandrabhaga fair, is held every year during October/November on the banks of the river.
