Chandrashekhar Museum




Chandrashekhar Museum is a multi-purpose museum established in 1985. Located at Jamui, this museum was founded by Prof Dr Syamnandan Prasad. It treasures archeological remains, terracotta seals and ancient rocks. Besides, the museum houses a large number of statues of Lord Vishnu, Lord Surya, Goddess Uma and Durga.

Popularly known as Chandrashekhar Singh Sangrahalay, the museum is open to visitors on all days except Mondays and other Government holidays from 10 30 to 16 30 hrs. Jamui Railway Station is the nearby railway station.
