Chandraprasad Saikia

Chandraprasad Saikia is a noted Assamese writer and journalist. He was the president of Asom Sahitya Sabha in 1999. Chandraprasad Saikia was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1995 and the Publication Board Award in 2000. His famous works are Nirvachita Sampadikiya, Maharathi, Tore More Alokore Yatra, Meghmallar, Janmantar, and Dristikon.
