The Chandigarh Golf Course is one of the oldest courses in the region. Its 18 holes were laid out in 1962 on an area of 132 acres. It is located in Sector 6, south of
Sukhna Lake and adjacent to the residence of the Punjab Governor. The club offers lush green fairways bounded by groves of trees including mango, jamun, eucalyptus, and kikar. The club also has a swimming pool, game rooms for bridge and mahjong, and a club house.
