Chandi



Chandi, on National Highway 31, is a taluk headquarters town in the north-eastern part of Nalanda District in Bihar. It is about 13 km north of Bihar Sharif, the district headquarters. Mohana River, a major tributary of Ganges River, flows near the town. Nalanda Archeological Museum, Nalanda University, Swarajpur Baragon Sun Temple, Sun Temple and Stupa Sita III Temple are the worth-visiting sites around this town. Patna Airport is about 51 km away. Harnaut Railway Station serves this town.
