Chanari




Chanari is perched at an altitude of 295 ft above sea level, close to the western border of Rohtas District in Bihar. This place is 27 km to the south-west of Sasaram.

Chanari is linked by road to the towns of Malahipur, Kudra, Darigawan and Sasaram.

Tourist destination outside the town is Rohtasgarh Fort, on the Kaimur Hills. Bhaluni Dham and Tarachandi are the other worth visiting places in the neighborhood. Gurdwara Chacha Phaggu Mal is a popular pilgrim spot for the Sikhs.

The nearest airport is Varanasi Airport and Kudra Railway Station is the closest railway station.
