Champa Baoli

Champa Baoli, a popular hot-weather retreat, is an elaborately constructed step-well. Situated to the west of Hindola Mahal, it has cool wells, subterranean bathrooms, ventilation shafts, pipes and tanks which collect rain water in its subterranean vaults. Its water is said to have smelt like the champak flower.
