Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary is located in
Dhubri District of
Assam and is about 68 km from
Dhubri.
Covering an area of about 46 sq km, the sanctuary is surrounded by hills and there are two lakes on either side of the sanctuary. Numerous mammals, birds, reptiles and butterfly species are found in this area. Hornbills are also spotted.
