Chakrashila




Chakrashila is a hillock situated in the north-eastern part of Dhubri District in Assam. It is noted for the Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary. The rare primate, Golden Langur is also found in the sanctuary.

There are seasonal waterfalls and deep lakes, many historical buildings, old caves and white stones. Chakrashila is an ideal place for Picknickers.

Kokrajhar Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
