Chakla are traditional wall hangings of Gujarat. It exhibits a fine piece of embroidery work done with silk threads on cotton cloth. Chakla depicts the folk art and culture of the state.

The corners in a Chakla are often highlighted. The designs usually consist of geometrical shapes, flowers and animals. Blue, yellow and brown are the usual colors employed. These wall hangings may contain mirror-work and frames.
