Chakkarakulam and Chettikulam are two temple ponds in
Gingee Fort. Chittikulam was built by Raja Shetty during the Maratha occupation in the end of 18th century. There is a platform to the north of this pond. It is said that this was the burial place of Raja De Singh where his young wife committed
