Chakavel

Chakavel is located in the northern part of Kolar District in Karnataka. It lies near the district’s border with Andhra Pradesh. Kolar, the district headquarters, is about 90 km south of Chakavel.

Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport. Gauribidanur Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Tanakallu Railway Station, on Dharmavaram-Madanapalle rail route, is another railhead nearby.
