Chakand

The town of Chakand lies in Gaya District of Bihar and is around 17 km north of Gaya.

Bodhgaya (30 km south) and Gaya are the prominent tourist destinations in the region.

Nearest airport is Gaya Airport. Chakand Railway Station is on the Gaya - Patna rail route. Gaya Junction Railway Station, on the New Delhi-Kolkata rail route, is the nearest major railhead. National Highway 82 passes nearby.
