Chaitya Hall dates back to the 7th century AD. It is situated in front of the Southern gateway of the Great Stupa in
Sanchi. The hall resembles the rock-cut chaitya halls at Karla Caves in
Maharashtra.
One can reach Sanchi easily as it is well connected by road, rail and air networks. Bhopal Airport is 46 km from here.
