Chaitra Parab is celebrated on a grand scale in Jyotipur, Asanapat and Chamakpur regions, in the Champua sub-division of
Keonjhar District,
Orissa. It falls on the last day of
Chaitra and continues for 3 to 4 days. On this auspicious occasion people perform
Chhau Dance and worship Goddess Basuli.
