Chachiot

Chachiot, also spelt Chichot and Chachyot, is a taluk headquarters in Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh. It is around 15 km east of Sundernagar.

A Bhuddhist monastery and Kumarwah Lake are the main attractions in Chachiot. An annual fair is conducted near the lake, which attracts scores of people.

Mandi, the district headquarters, is around 40 km north of Chachiot. Kullu Manali Airport is the nearest airport. The nearest railhead is Joginder Nagar Railway Station.
